update:

so last night before i knew my dad was going into OR at noon, he was meant to go in at 9a. at that time i asked him if he could hear me. if he could hear me, he would go before i got there.

i did not want to sign the papers saying take my alive dad and make him not that way. i would have, but i did not want to be the person who gave up on her dad.

at 8:55a yesterday morning, my dad slipped and went on his own. he heard me, and did not make it until 9a. that made me so happy.

i keep getting phone calls upon phone calls from doctors and medical examiners and donor people and everything. up until 11 or 12 usually. we made funeral arragenments yesterday. the services will be Monday at Krugers Funeral Home in Mattydale, 3-6:30 calling hours with a 6:30-7p service.

so much to do.

i want to thank marielle and stina, for including me in thier posts, as well as anyone else who has asked their friends to keep my family in their thoughts.
