here we are at the hospital. oooh hospital. haha. it was fun to put the car seat in the car and have everything packed. his diaper bag is ready, everything is good to go.

we came in around 10 to 6:00 and filled out 400lbs of paperwork. then it was a quick, okay pee in this and get nekkid from the waist down. let me just note that modesty goes right out the window. bye-bye. speaking of window, we have a wonderful view of the lake from our room. i got to watch to sunset. it was lovely.

the inserted the cervadil by about 7pm. it looked like a tampon/tapeworm. i was 50% effaced and almost completely closed when it was inserted. definitely posterior.

i have to stay on the monitors ALL night and it sucks, but i will deal with it. they offered me a sleeping pill which i kindly declined. our beautiful boy is doing very well with what contractions i'm having. oh yes, that's right... i'm CONTRACTING!!! i can feel them and everything. it's wonderful. and uncomfortable. mostly wonderful.

so if i haven't gone into active labor by 6:30/7am tomorrow morning they will start pitocin. yuck. that means i cannot go anywhere because i'm on the stupid IV. (saline locks are not fun and needles suck) i'll be on pitocin till something happens or 12 hours, whichever comes first. if no active labor has started we can take a break until 7am on Thursday, process will repeat itself. if nothing by Thursday night... evil C word.

but until then i have the most support man in the world by my side. the most loving family at home. and a nice nurse that is too soft-spoken for her own good.
