Leaning against a wall in the shadow of a tall building, the daily events of city life passed by him. Opaque strands came over his eyes, hindering a bit of his view. Searching from face to face, looking for the appropriate woman, by looks, to approach he found her. Stepping infront of her, he threw his body onto the ground and prostrated himself at her feet. Lowering his head in respect to a woman of a higher social status than himself, the slave boy made no attempt to move out of her way.::
