joel through me a suprize party yesterday and i was completely floored. i had no idea and it was definatly your basic "i'm really bummed that no one in my family called to wish me a happy birthday" day. then joel and i went to my dad too see if he and joel's mom wanted to go out to eat with us and surprize!! best day ever.
joel got me two vonnegut book's; hocus pocus and welcome to the monkey house. he also got me the trinity 7/16" plugs i wanted. he got me boxing for atari, big trouble in little china on DVD, last but not least-- DOA3 and matrix for the NEW XBOX my dad joel and sue bought me!
my mom get me the last book in the manga series i've been reading and a nice sized gift certificate to media play. my dad got me the xbox and a couple games (splinter cell and simpson's road rage). sue bought me 2 of the books i needed to complete the series. longergan was the best ever for finding the place. and my amazing little sister bought me all this marilyn monroe collecters stuff!
then to top it all off it was a finding nemo party! joel is seriously the best boyfriend ever. i don't think i could have had a better day if i wanted too. we did a lot of running around after my party and ended back at our (joel's and my) house for some serious gaming. reynolds, fred, and naif stopped by and we went to ... SHOCK! dennys.
we desided that we weren't too old to try to stay up. so we played four square from about midnight till 3:30. then headed to reynolds to play hunter for another hour and a half. i think i remeber what made us so compatable in those days... insomnia. i have been pretty insomnia free for about a year or a little more now thanks to joel and i don't want to go back.
we are only in our house for 25 more days and that its really sad to me. it isn't just my house. its our home. at least i still have 25 days left though... right?
